In St. Brigid's N.S. Junior and Senior Infants engage in Aistear activities after lunch every day. Each month we focus on a different theme, for example our September theme is "School". We brainstorm vocabulary and ideas and make plans together about the activities we will engage in at each area.
Our areas vary depending on our theme, they include Writing, Junk Art, Construction, Sand, Role Play, Play Dough, Small World.
We have 5 groups and each group learns through play at one area per day. We have Aistear Journals and will be using ePortfolios to compile a collection of our work.
